Schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday when school is in session for students. It is a 180-day work schedule each school year.</p> <p>Start Date: Immediate opening.</p> <p>Salary and Benefits: In accordance with the paraprofessional bargaining unit contract. Starting pay rate is $17.00/hour.</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Will Possess:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma </li><li>Experience working with young children </li><li>Sensitivity to the needs of young children </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervising students (Grade 1 - Grade 5) for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground and/or in a classroom setting for indoor recess </li><li>Helping students resolve minor conflicts with their peers </li><li>Observing student behavior </li><li>Consistently circulating the playground area (or classroom) to observe student interaction </li></ul> <p>Applications will only be accepted online at the District's Web site: www.er9.org.
