<p>Apollo Glass & Mirror is seeking a residential glazier installer to join their team!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set glass windows/doors into frames and bolt metal hinges, locks, handles, and other hardware to attach doors to frames and walls using a level </li><li>Install pre-assembled wood or metal frameworks for doors and windows before glass panel installation using hand tools </li><li>Read and understand blueprints and specifications to know necessary work details, including color, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed, </li><li>framing location, procedures for installation, and any scaffolding or other staging items needed before beginning work </li><li>Drive trucks to work locations unload tools and equipment, and use suction cups or cranes to lift out glass panels </li><li>Pack loose areas between glass panels and molding or frames with glazing compound, and trim excess material with a glazing knife </li><li>Lift, hold, and secure glass panels and mirrors into position with putty, cement, screws, or bolts </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 -2 years of work experience related construction field, preferred </li><li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>Maintain a valid driver's license </li><li>Experience in the construction industry a plus </li><li>Knowledge of all OSHA construction job site requirements </li><li>Knowledgeable of all OSHA standards and requirements as related to our industry </li><li>OSHA 10 certified; OSHA 30 preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>this role requires Heavy lifting, frequent standing, bending, reaching, climbing, working at heights, using hand tools, driving, unloading equipment, and handling glass with precision.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage </li><li>Company Life Insurance </li><li>Longevity Stock Program </li><li>IBP Foundation </li><li>Scholarship opportunities </li><li>Paid vacation and holidays </li><li>Employee Financial Assistance Program </li><li>Opportunities for growth and advancement. </li><li>401(K) (Pre-Tax and Post-Tax) Roth 401(k) with company matching </li><li>Supplemental Insurance (Short- and Long-Term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness, supplemental life insurance. </li></ul> <p>Apollo Glass and Mirror is part of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family of companies.
