<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Depot Supervisor is a management role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective depot operations, with strong focus on inventory control, quality, compliance, cost management and customer interaction.</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role is accountable for overseeing daily depot activities, ensuring accurate system transactions (SAP/GEMS), maintaining product quality standards, implementing SOPs and 5S practices, and delivering operational KPIs.</p> <p>The position also acts as a key operational interface with end-users, customers, transport providers and internal stakeholders, while supporting contract administration and identifying local improvement and cost-saving opportunities.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)</p> <ul> <li>Management of the Depot / Warehouse Operation by way of achieving production target regularly and efficiently. </li><li>Ensuring all SAP transactions have been duly processed before month end </li><li>Resolving inventory issues at warehouse locations, with the support of the SAP Support team in Headquarters. </li><li>Manage inventory in the depot to achieve quick turnaround time. </li><li>Reduce stagnant inventory in the depot to achieve not more than 7 days WIP. </li><li>Manage the entire scanning and uploading of GEMS system. </li><li>Ensuring correct data base information using GEMS system. </li><li>Manage and reduce damages return from End Users. </li><li>Management incoming and delivery to ensure smooth traffic flow in the depot. </li><li>Manage with transport companies and shipping agents to arrange timely pick up for delivery </li><li>Manage the QC (Quality Complain) process and inspection to reduce customer complaints. </li><li>Providing CAR (Corrective Action Reports) to complaints and improvements. </li><li>Establish SOP, process flow and inspections in the Depot. </li><li>Achieve cost control, cost reduction, and cost containment targets, and add value to area of expenditure through a strong total cost of ownership orientation and process management. </li><li>Management of daily mail. </li><li>Providing a high standard in all areas of customer experience. </li><li>Supporting the Depot Manager on an as-needed basis. </li><li>Providing support to the local team when required. </li><li>Improve Quality and Inventory Control. </li><li>Ensures standardization of processes. </li><li>Cost reduction through inefficiency. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
