Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The inventory, distribution/inventory of medications may be required.</p> <p>Pharmacy Intern/Trainee Position Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma and one year of college including math or chemistry; this requirement may be waived in the case where the employee has had prior pharmacy experience. </li><li>Registered by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations. </li><li>Certification through accredited National Certification Board. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license and verification of insurability under Peninsula Regional Medical Center's automobile insurance plan. </li></ul> <p>Pharmacy Intern/Trainee Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Day and evening shifts. </li><li>Works alternate weekends. </li><li>May be required to work beyond the normal schedule. </li><li>The part-time position works additional hours to cover the schedule in cases of sick time, vacation or staffing shortages of the full time positions. </li></ul> <p>Pharmacy Intern/Trainee Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $16.00 - $19.20 Commensurate with experience</p>
