<p>Role: Associate, Strategic Planning & Operations</p> <p>Location: Sandy, UT (In-Office, Flexible work options available)</p> <p>Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Chief of Staff</p> <p>We're seeking a Strategic Planning & Operations Associate to support the Chief of Staff and work cross-functionally across the company. This person will serve as a data-driven problem solver, strategic thinker, and execution partner, responsible for analyzing complex business challenges, identifying opportunities, and helping teams design and implement solutions.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <p>Strategic Analysis & Opportunity Assessment</p> <ul> <li>Analyze market trends, customer behavior, product performance, sales funnels, and financial results to generate insights. </li><li>Build models, frameworks, and data-driven recommendations to evaluate new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and process improvements. </li><li>Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership. </li></ul> <p>Planning & Execution Support</p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to define, scope, and drive priority initiatives across the organization. </li><li>Translate strategic goals into operational plans, including timelines, workstreams, and success metrics. </li><li>Work with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to implement changes and ensure alignment. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Problem Solving</p> <ul> <li>Identify root causes of bottlenecks or inefficiencies across departments using data, stakeholder interviews, and structured analysis. </li><li>Collaboratively design solutions and support teams in executing those changes. </li><li>Track progress, measure impact, and adjust as needed. </li></ul> <p>Data, Reporting & Modeling</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain dashboards, reports, or models that support operational and strategic decisions. </li><li>Consolidate data across systems to create clear narratives for leadership reviews. </li><li>Support forecasting, scenario planning, and performance monitoring. </li><li>Operational Improvement and Workflow Analysis </li><li>Analyze, document, and optimize internal workflows across sales, operations, support, and product teams. </li><li>Build capacity models that forecast staffing and operational needs based on sales growth, customer volume, and process complexity. </li><li>Recommend and support implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>3-4 years of experience in strategy, finance, management consulting, business operations, business analytics, corporate strategy, or a related analytical role. </li><li>Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel/Sheets, BI tools, or SQL is a strong plus. </li><li>Experience working with cross-functional teams to solve complex operational or business problems. </li><li>Ability to structure and break down ambiguous problems into clear steps. </li><li>Strong communication skills - able to explain complex ideas simply and influence stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a high-growth startup environment or a business undergoing change. </li><li>Knowledge of retirement plans, financial services, or SaaS business models is a plus (not required). </li><li>Familiarity with CRM, workflow tools, or product analytics platforms. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>A natural problem solver who loves asking why and uncovering what the data is really saying. </li><li>A strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to execute details. </li><li>A proactive self-starter who enjoys owning outcomes and driving change across teams. </li><li>A collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments and works well with diverse stakeholders. </li><li>Someone who believes data should inform every decision - but also knows when to combine it with intuition and context. </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Location: United States</p> <p>Why 401GO?</p> <p>At 401GO, we're not just changing retirement-we're reinventing it.
