<p>Job Description:</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>The Department of Art, Design, and Art History at Framingham State University invites applications for a part-time position teaching Introduction to Museum Studies to begin in September 2025. This position entails teaching MUSE 110: Introduction to Museum Studies, an art history elective and requirement for the Museum Studies minor. The course is a behind-the-scenes examination of museums, which provides a comprehensive introduction to how these institutions function. Students will learn about the origins and objectives of different types of museums (e.g. fine art, history, science) through discussions with museum professionals. As part of the course students will visit local museums.
