<p>Applications are invited to apply for part-time tutoring of students for the School of Nursing.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide supplemental tutoring support related to nursing coursework</p> </li><li> <p>Courses include: Foundations in Nursing, basic math calculation, terminology, and others as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Meet with students by appointment virtually/in a remote setting</p> </li><li> <p>Provide work for students to do following tutoring session to check for understanding</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the applicable course instructor to determine plan of action for specific student (when applicable)</p> </li><li> <p>Provide feedback to student specific to progression in subject matter.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide feedback to the program director as to student progress.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse with two years minimum experience and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) </li><li>Commitment to undergraduate and professional education and student success </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills </li><li>Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals) </li></ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), five years of working experience </li><li>Teaching or tutoring experience </li></ul> <p>Apply</p> <p>Please attach a cover letter and a curriculum vitae/resume.
