<p>The Greene County ESC is currently accepting applicants for a part time Job Coach (Generally 8:30-11:30 Monday - Friday) in the GCESC Project LIFE program located at Wright State University. The position may require additional time for training.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>CPI certified (Preferred. Training can be offered through GCESC.) </li><li>Ability to use technology-Computer for charting/documentation and other purposes. </li><li>Educational Aide permit required through ODE </li><li>High School Diploma </li><li>Experience working with students with varying ability levels/special needs (preferred) </li><li>Good driving record and ability to drive a school van </li></ul> <p>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Job Coach position job duties include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Coaches/supervises students at job training sites </li><li>Completes task analysis on students as requested </li><li>Monitors student performance in a variety of work sites according to program guidelines. </li><li>Determines additional skills student needs in order to be successful </li><li>Maintains confidentiality for students, parents, and staff in all aspects of job </li><li>Provides specific guidance to students in how to perform jobs efficiently and successfully </li><li>Works under the direction of the Transition Coordinator </li><li>Works with students at job training sites in the community. </li><li>Works cooperatively with all District, GCESC, and job site staff </li><li>Understands students under his/her guidance will have varying ability levels and will need to be able to gauge assistance dependent upon those abilities. </li><li>Has good oral and written language skills </li><li>Follows all procedures under Board Policy and Legal requirements </li><li>Is self-motivated, able to self-initiate in times of being unsupervised. </li></ul> <p>Classroom Assistant Salary Schedule: range $17 to $23 per hour depending on experience paid on the classroom assistant salary schedule</p> <p>Start date: August 12, 2025</p>
