The plant is 350k sq. ft. and operates 8 highly automated production lines. At this plant, we produce cookies for multiple customers. Nestled between the curves of the Missouri River and the banks of McCook Lake, North Sioux City is at the intersection of commerce, recreation, and small town living with big city attractions.</p> <p>Benefits of working at Maker's Pride:</p> <ul> <li>Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. </li><li>Paid vacation and holidays after probationary period. </li><li>State-of-the-art, clean and safe working environment. </li><li>Teamsters Union-sponsored pension. </li><li>$125 annual allowance for steel-toed footwear after probationary period. </li></ul> <p>In a typical day, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and ship orders for pick up or delivery according to schedule and order instructions. </li><li>Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store). </li><li>Perform inventory transactions accurately and keep quality standards high for audits. </li><li>Report any discrepancies. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. </li><li>Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, including pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts. </li><li>Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors. </li><li>Follow and comply with procedures, rules, and policies. </li></ul> <p>About you:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred. </li><li>At least 2 years of sit-down forklift/material handling experience. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds. </li><li>required </li><li>Must be able to work in a team. </li><li>Basic computer and data entry skills. </li><li>Ability to multi-task. </li><li>Strong decision-making skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain strong internal and external customer relationships. </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes:</p> <ul> <li>Post-offer drug screening, background check, and physical capacity profile test required. </li><li>More often than not, we have mandatory overtime requirements.
