<p>Apple Grove, WV | MECHANICAL</p> <p>G.A. West & Company has an immediate need for Aluminum Tig Welders in Apple Grove, WV. The position is expected to last 4-6 weeks, possibly longer. Per diem is available for those who qualify. See below for details:</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up welding equipment and tools (MIG and TIG) </li><li>Review blueprints for specifications </li><li>Weld, cut, and grind aluminum of different widths </li><li>Weld various metal components together with efficiency and precision </li><li>Perform various types of welds including straight lines, curves, and circles, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards </li><li>Finish and inspect products for quality </li><li>Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment </li><li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and in adherence to quality guidelines </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of welding experience as a TIG Welder in a similar fabrication or manufacturing setting preferred </li><li>MIG or TIG Certification (preferred but not required) </li><li>Strong knowledge of different welding techniques, materials, and their properties </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications </li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards </li><li>Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods </li><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent time management skills </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation </li><li>Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks </li></ul> <p>G.A.
