Unlock your potential!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The primary purpose of the position is to provide product leadership and expertise for developing and supporting new and existing software products within Clinical Development & Innovation at HCA. This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with little to no supervision in an Agile Development environment and provide mentorship to team members. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines. Ultimately, the candidate's success will be evaluated by the performance advances the entire Clinical Development team is able to achieve on a consistent basis. The following are highlighted competencies and core expectations for the job/role:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the software development lifecycle process for selected projects that are designed to stabilize, enhance, and/or expand capabilities related to the Clinical Development team. </li><li>Ensure the full and proper application of technology to all department functions </li><li>Serve as the Product Manager on the primary Agile Scrum Team for Clinical Development & Innovation </li><li>Gather requirements from the Product Owner and other Business stakeholders </li><li>Author stories with strong acceptance criteria </li><li>Prioritize stories Accept/Reject stories </li><li>Coordinate with other technical teams at HCA on necessary activities Remove team roadblocks </li><li>Manage all staff members involved in the software development process - Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Support as needed </li><li>People management - Staff meetings, Resource Allocation Management, Performance Reviews, Time Management, PTO, Employee Development Planning, Mentoring </li><li>Manage processes for ongoing application support by ensuring tickets are assigned to team members appropriately and completed in a manner that meets or exceeds pre-defined service level agreements </li><li>Evangelize and implement Agile development principles for the entire Clinical Development & Innovation department as well as other HCA stakeholders </li><li>Assist and advise other teams within and outside the department as needed </li><li>In cooperation with HCA Architects, evaluate all proposed new technology for the departmental use and organizational fit </li><li>Collaborate with Corporate and Division leadership, Client Executives, Clients and PMs to schedule, staff and deliver application enhancements </li><li>Identify potential revenue-generating solutions and perform patent evaluations and feasibility analysis where applicable </li><li>Assist the Director of Clinical Development and other designees in developing a catalog of service offerings along with associated costs </li></ul> <p>The candidate will be involved in:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring staff are maintaining documentation for projects and ensuring that information can be easily located and referenced by the organization. This may include Requirements, ISAM, and other documentation development. </li><li>Leading and managing development projects thru inception, elaboration, development, testing, and implementation. </li><li>Ensure staff are providing advanced troubleshooting user support, working with end users at all levels of the organization </li><li>Ensure baseline key performance indicators are established as well as relevant operating metrics can be gathered in order to evaluate before/after results related to new technology adoption </li><li>Identify and help implement process additions/changes/deletions that augment the technology adoption </li><li>Conduct training sessions and/or ensure relevant training is performed as necessary to help ensure high levels of technology adoption </li><li>Identify and acquire technologies along with all supporting managerial tasks (e.g.- contract management, requisitioning, invoice payments) </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>College Degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Three to seven years experience prefered in:</p> <ul> <li>Design Tools: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch </li><li>Native mobile </li><li>UX/UI; Wireframing and prototyping (Figma, inVision etc) </li><li>user testing </li><li>interaction design </li><li>Managing Product Development lifecycles </li><li>Agile Development expertise </li><li>Leading and Mentoring team designers </li><li>Self Managing work load </li><li></li></ul> <p>Special Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Lean/Agile techniques in development environment (certifications are preferred, but a proven history is highly desired) </li><li>Formal experience as a Technical Product Manager and/or served as a Product Manager for a software solution </li><li>Experience in Healthcare application development and/or data as a service offering </li><li>Relevant experience/knowledge working with Hospitals and their integration needs </li><li>Management of staff, Lead and implemented projects with >=5 members, >=1,000 hour projects </li></ul> <p>HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the Worlds Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
