This role will utilize technical expertise to make operational and, or strategic decisions based on the condition of equipment or other factors; properly record work performed and communicated using the tools and processes provided, such as accountability of time and materials used.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure automated warehousing system is operating effectively and efficiently by actively monitoring, assessing, and repairing, as needed </li><li>Perform planned preventative maintenance of automation equipment to prevent downtime or reduction in efficiency </li><li>Maintain facility equipment in both a corrective and preventative capacity </li><li>Support of the operation in a variety of functions within the facility </li><li>Report and communicate work performed, recommended, or required </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Electrical experience </li><li>Basic understanding of PLCs </li><li>Ability to utilize software platforms to perform the required reporting and administrative elements of the position: SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook </li><li>Ability to execute and communicate effectively and with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day and lift, up-to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED; 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school </li><li>Knowledge acquired through 1-3 years of work experience </li><li>2+ years maintenance experience in a production, facility, or automation environment </li><li>Understanding of electrical safety </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering </li><li>Electrical experience </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</p> <p>Nearest Major Market: Raleigh</p>
